Winter Food & Flicks:
Whisky Galore! – Comedy Enjoy a Scottish-themed winter feast of haggis, neeps, tatties, a wee dram and more, followed by the usual delicious puddings all cooked by the folks of Chapel Lawn. Followed by the 1949 Ealing classic movie Whisky Galore! Why not dress the part and wear something tartan?! Please book via Christine Rogers, details below. We also have a supporting B movie that is not to be missed! We will be showing snatches of home movies taken by the Henderson family of Well House during the 1960s and 1970s which have come to light courtesy of Hamish. If you’re old enough to remember when the main film at the ‘flicks’ had a supporting B movie, you’re probably old enough to recognise the Chapel Lawn ladies’ rounders team. Do you remember the colour of Jack Adams tractor, and whose donkey walked down the road beside it? Are you the lady in a short skirt or the small boy playing on a pile of stones? All will be revealed at the Food and Flicks. |
Bar & Doors open 5.45pm, Food 6pm, Film 7.30pm |
